Please note that designs may look slightly different on a real product than what you see on your monitor/screen. This is due to difference specifications of monitors/screens, lighting sources and digital products - we always recommend a test-print if you require a large number of transfers to ensure that you are happy with the result. We cannot accept refunds on items if test prints have not been ordered.
- Please ensure that you remove the white background from your files that you upload (you can do this in the online designer tool we have). We will not edit the print files and will print exactly as we receive them so it is important you check this before sending to us.
- Film has 30cm width but due to printable margins the width you can use is 27cm. The design file that opens up in the editor is set to 27cm so you can use the full width and all items will be within the printable area.
How to Apply UV DTF Transfers
Step 1 - Prepare Your Surface:
- Clean your item thoroughly with soap and water or a 50/50 rubbing alcohol mix. A clean surface ensures the transfer sticks properly.
- Lay your transfer design-side down. Use a squeegee or similar tool to press the transfer firmly (2–4 passes) to prepare it for application.
Step 2 - Separate the Carrier Sheet:
- Carefully peel a corner of the clear carrier sheet to start.
- Make sure the design lifts cleanly from the white backing. If parts stick, re-squeegee and peel slowly from another angle.
Step 3 - Position the Transfer:
- For smaller designs (under 4 inches), use both hands to place the transfer accurately.
- For larger designs (over 6 inches), start from one side and press as you go to avoid bubbles or wrinkles.
- Leave a corner of the carrier sheet unpressed for easier removal later.
Step 4 - Apply the Transfer:
- Firmly press the transfer using 2–4 passes with your squeegee to ensure it sticks well.
- Slowly peel off the carrier sheet while ensuring all parts of the design stay adhered.
